Catering - By the students, for the students
Students are involved heavily in the building's
catering. The aim is to help give students experience of a real
working environment on a daily basis.
The main refectory has been specially designed to give the
students lots of space to learn with study kitchens with all the
latest equipment linked into the main service area.
All of this means the food in the catering areas is freshly
produced (from local produce) by the students, for the students.
There's also greater variety of foods on offer from all around
the world, with healthy options featuring heavily.
There is also a top-class restaurant and bar area on the third
floor with extra function rooms available for conferences and
weddings.
The extra catering facilities means the College is able to offer
a greater variety of courses and experience for students,
including: Foundation degrees, National Diplomas and HNDs in bar
work, event/conference management, reception duties, customer
service and hospitality supervisions.
The ever-popular Campus Coffee is
also onsite, offering an array of different beverages and snacks.
We are also the first College in the country to offer Barista
training on coffee machines.
Our exterior patio space means we can offer barbecues and other
outdoor cooking options.
