I studied a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance) at
Doncaster College from September 2008 until June 2010. When my
course finished I left with three Distinctions, as well as other
awards such as Key Skills in Communication Level 1 & 2, NCFE
Level 2 Certificate in Video Introduction, and NCFE Level 2
Certificate in Performance Skills. In addition to this I was part
of a Bollywood production movie called “Someday”, which was shot in
Sheffield in 2010.
I am currently at Sheffield Hallam University doing my second
year in Events Management with Arts and Entertainment. I am also
part of the Hip Hop Theatre Company based in Sheffield called
Rationale, you can check out the website at www.rationale.org.uk.
I’m also teaching Hip Hop Dance in the Sheffield and Doncaster
areas, and I’m the current president of Sheffield Hallam Street
& Break-dance Society.
My inspiration is my great family and friends that are around me
through the good and bad times. They're the people that pushed me
to do more positive things with my life.
The moment I'm most proud of is when I performed my first
production with Rationale at the Crucible. I had all my family,
friends and college tutors (High Melton) there supporting me.
