Solutions, Courses and Services we Offer

Each of our specialist academies has their own facilities and ethos that are industry relevant, supported and challenging to give a training environment that works.

Apprenticeships

Apprentices are employees who earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff in businesses to gain job-specific skills. Off the job, usually on a day-release basis, apprentices receive training to work towards nationally recognised qualifications.

Doncaster College has a long history of working with the local business community to train and develop our young people through Apprenticeships. We offer a variety of placement opportunities in many different areas – Apprenticeships are not just for those who want to pursue the traditional sectors such as construction and trades.

Workplace Delivery

Qualications are offered in a range industries which are solely delivered in the workplace; these qualications are designed to broaden skills, increase productivity and instill confidence in employees.

Qualications range from Levels 1-3. There is a qualication to suit each sector. Funding is available for 19+ learners and eligibility is dependent on the learner’s prior qualications.
