Course Description
Are you ready to take your first step into the world of
Business Administration? If so, this is the course for
you.
Practical activies will take place in a realistic work
environment which includes a reception; telephone
system; office equipment; mailroom; stock, sales and
payment departments. The course will be suppored by
visiting speakers from local businesses. You will develop a
range of ICT skills while producing documents for our real
customers.
Course Structure
You will take part in team building, arranging meetings,
document production, presenting, receiving and making telephone
calls and prioritising workloads.
The course includes the following subjects:
- Foundation Diploma in Business Administration
- Work Experience involving a range of realistic tasks
- ITQ Level 1
- Functional Skills in English, Mathematics and Information
Technology

Course Assessment
Your coursework will be assessed by a varierty of
methods including role play, practical demonstration,
presentations, portfolio building, written examination, oral
examination. Functional skills assessment will be exam
based.
Entry Requirements
- 2 GCSEs at grade G and above.

- All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and
English and attend an interview

- Level 2 Extended Certificate in Business
- Level 2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship
- Level 2 Practical Business including NVQ

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old. However,
you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips
and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your
