Health & Social Care Entry Level 3
Course Description
This course is intended to enable students to explore a range of
areas within the health services. It will provide knowledge,
understanding and skills required for further education or future
employment in the health and care sectors.
Course Structure
The course comprises of three elements;
- NOCN Entry Level Certificate in progression,
- Entry Level Award in Health & Social Care, and
- Certificate in Personal & Social Development Entry 3 and
includes Functional Skills in English and Mathematics at Entry
3
Course Assessment
All evidence is completed through practical written work in the
form of assignments over the one year programme.
Entry Requirements
- No academic qualifications required
- All applicants must complete an initial assessment in Maths and
English and attend an interview

BTEC Level 1 Health & Social Care.
Course Career Prospects
After further study this qualification will provide
opportunities in careers in care such as Home Care Worker,
Residential Care Worker and Personal Assistant.

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old. However,
you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips
and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your
interview.
