Free Level 2 and Level 3 Courses*
Level 2 Entitlement
If you are studying for your first full level
2 qualification then you may be eligible for FREE learning, for
example an NVQ Level 2 or a City and Guilds Level 2.
These nationally recognised qualifications can
help you enhance your career prospects or progress onto other
college courses.
Please note that you may be required to pay
for materials and/or educational visits on some courses.
Who is Eligible?
You will need to match all of the following
criteria:
- Age 19 or over
- Committed to a full level 2 qualification
- Your first full level 2 qualification or equivalent which means
you don’t already have any of the following
qualifications:

- EdExcel or BTEC First Diploma
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
- City and Guilds Part 2 Qualification
|
|
|
|
- A UK national, have UK citizenship or a UK passport
- Granted indefinite leave to remain or refugee status
- You are from a European Union or European Economic Area
country
Level 3 Entitlement
If you have already studied to Level 2 but
never progressed to Level 3 then you may be eligible for FREE
Learning, for example NVQ Level 3, A Levels, National
Certificates/Diplomas.
Please note that you may be required to pay
for materials and/or educational visits on some courses.
Who is Eligible?
You will need to match all of the following
criteria:
- An adult aged between 19 and 25 (and under 25 years of age at
the start of your course)
- Committed to a full level 3 qualification
- Your first full level 3 qualification or equivalent which means
you don’t already have any of the following
qualifications:

- EdExcel National Certificates and National Diplomas
|
- 2 or more A Levels, including vocational A Levels
|
- BTEC National Certificates and National Diplomas
|
- 1 or more A-Level double awards
|
- Ordinary National Certificates or Diplomas
|
|
|
- International Baccalaureate
|
- OCR National Diplomas and Extended National Diplomas
|
- Or higher level qualifications such as HNC/HND or
degrees
|
- A UK national, have UK citizenship or a UK passport
- Granted indefinite leave to remain or refugee status
- You are from a European Union or European Economic Area
country
