Fees and Finance for Part-Time courses
You could get money off your course fees if you are in the
following categories:
- Aged 16 - 18 years old
- Claiming Job Seeker's Allowance / Employment Support Allowance
(work related activity group)
- It is your first Level 2
course
- It is your first Level 3 course and
you are aged 19-24
These are explained in more detail below.
If you are included in this list you will not pay tuition or
examination fees, although any materials or residential fees will
still be chargeable. In order to complete your enrolment and claim
the reduced fee you will need to have all your evidence with you at
the time you enrol.

Benefit Statement or a letter from Benefits Agency (less than 3
months old), confirmation of benefit form or bank statement (less
than 1 month old) clearly showing payment of Job Seekers Allowance
(please note that the ES40 ‘signing-on’ document is not valid as
evidence).
Proof of your National Insurance Number.

Award notice confirming work related activity group or
confirmation of benefit form (less than 3 months old) and a bank
statement (less than 1 month old) clearly showing payment of
benefit.
