Start any time! This course offers flexible start dates, and you can choose when to start. Classes are offered to suit you, any time between 9:30 and 16:00 every day, with late opening on Tuesdays until 20:00.

Course Description

European Social Fund

The ITQ is a skills-based IT qualification, an ideal qualification to improve job performance, help find a new job or learn how to use today’s technology more efficiently. This course is designed to give you practical skills in using Information Technology applications that will enable you to carry out tasks in a range of vocational contexts.

Course Structure

Mandatory units:

  • Improving productivity using IT
  • Word processing software
  • Database software
  • Spreadsheet software

 

Plus any 1 from the following units:

  • Desktop Publishing software
  • Presentation software

Entry Requirements

You would be expected to have some knowledge of computers

Course Progression Routes

You may progress to OCR ITQ Certificate Level 2 or to the OCR Text Processing (Business Professional) Level 1 course. Alternatively you may want to consider other further education courses.
