Course Description

This course is designed to teach the fundamentals of digital photography.

The course comprises one unit of a vocational programme at Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3.

Beginners and those with more experience are welcomed.

Course Structure

A series of workshops using your cameras in a studio setting will be followed by instruction in Photoshop and other imaging software and move on to printing images for display and uploading to websites etc.

Entry Requirements

There are no entry requirements for the course.

Course Progression Routes

Success in this unit will help with a portfolio to gain entry to courses in Photography at Level1 and 2 or to the Adult Art & Design Course at level 2.

Course Career Prospects

Learners normally progress to University or pursue a career in Photography or Digital Imaging.
