Course Description
This course is designed to introduce learners to painting with
acrylics.
The course comprises one unit of a vocational programme at Level
1, Level 2 or Level 3.
Beginners and those with more experience are welcomed.
Course Structure
A series of workshops covering preparation of surfaces (hard
surfaces & paper stretching), drawing, composition, colour
mixing and painting.
Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for the course.
Course Progression Routes
Success in this unit will help with a portfolio to gain entry to
courses in Art & Design at Level 1 or to the Adult Art &
Design Course at level 2.
Course Career Prospects
Learners normally progress to University or pursue a career in
fine art.
