Course Description

Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement

This course for learners who are assessing any qualification or standard. The course comprises 3 units and you are able to do part of the qualification if you prefer. You will need to be in a position where you are able to assess learners.


The Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices

The course is available for anyone who is quality assuring a qualification or standards.


Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practices

This course is suitable for anyone who manages other Assessors.

Course Structure

Four classroom based teaching sessions which are followed by individual tutorials and assessments.

Entry Requirements

All learners will need to complete an application and interview prior to commencement. You will need to have access to at least 2 learners who you are able to assess for the assessor course.

Course Career Prospects

This qualification will enable you to be an NVQ Assessor / Verifier and progression is available to become a further education lecturer.
