Course Description

The course provides the knowledge and qualification for the service, inspection and testing of portable electrical equipment.

Course Structure

The course is made up of 1 day theory, ½ day practical and ½ day exam.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal qualifications required for this course, just a willingness to learn.

Course Progression Routes

This is a stand alone course however students may wish to apply for the City & Guilds 17th Edition to further improve their skills.

Course Career Prospects

To enable electricians to test portable equipment. Successful completion will assist progression in your current employment and also widen opportunities within the general electrical installation environment.
