Course Description

The HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering has been designed to continue on from the HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.

Attendance will normally consist of one extended day per week, running into the evening for approximately 35 weeks over a period of one year.  To qualify for the award 16 units are required of which 10 are taken from the HNC level qualification.

There is a mixture of classroom and practical activity throughout the course. In addition to the course fee students must pay a BTEC registration fee.  The registration is valid for five years.

Assessment will be carried out by means of a number of assignments, laboratory exercises, coursework and examinations.
