This course will enable you to seek employment as a door supervisor or security personnel.
To complete this course you will be provided with a work book which you will work through with the course tutor. As part of the delivery of this course there will be quizzes, role play and video clips.
The course comprises of Unit 1 and Unit 2, Roles and Responsibilities and Conflict Management. It covers the skills and knowledge needed in the following areas:-
Assessment is by examination, one per unit.
Unit 1 – multiple choice
Unit 2 – multiple choice based on video clips
All learners will need to complete an application form.
A good understanding of English language both written and verbal is required. A Skills Review must be completed by all students and an interview will be conducted by the course tutor prior to enrolment. Proof of ID will be required for successful enrolment; a list of suitable ID will be provided on application and will be inspected at interview.

As Specified by the Security Industry Authority (SIA)
This course is for people wishing to qualify as Door Supervisors in licensed premises and other areas of the Security Industry. There are literally thousands of jobs available in the UK Security Industry.
In order to access the Industry you must first gain a National Qualification. Once qualified you must then meet the strict SIA Licensing Criteria. If you are in any doubt about your suitability you should check out the SIA Website by selecting Google then typing in The SIA.
