MA Digital Performance
Course Details
University Centre's Masters Degree Programme in Digital
Performance brings together theatre, dance, music and technology to
create an interdisciplinary approach to making performances with
digital media. This is developed through collaboration between
students of different artistic backgrounds as well as exploration
of new technologies.

- Critical Studies in Digital Performance
- Reflective Practice in Live Performance
During the intensive year programme, graduates can learn more
about the use of digital video, electroacoustic music, realtime
technologies (motion sensing, sensors), and programming
environments for use in live performance settings. Students will
also have the opportunity to explore current discourses in the
feild of digital performance.

Many guest artists and lecturers are invited throughout the
course to give students the opportunity to work with the latest
developments in performance technologies and work with researchers
within the field.

Who should apply
Those with a BA (Hons) in music, dance, or theatre, who have
achieved a 2.2 result or higher, and are interested in using
technology within collaborative and live performance settings.
