Undergraduate Courses at University Centre Doncaster
Higher Education doesn’t necessarily just
mean studying for a degree. There are three main levels of HE that
you can choose from.
Degrees (BA or BSc) typically last three of
four years full-time and allow you to enter graduate
professions.
A foundation degree (FdA) is an
employment-related HE qualification, which takes two years
full-time.
It allows the opportunity to progress to
further professional qualifications or to an honours degree.
Higher National Diploma (HND) and Higher
National Certificate (HNC) usually take two years and are also
qualifications in their own right. They can also be converted into
a degree by taking one or two years’ extra study.
