| Course: English as a Foreign Language |
Azadeh studied English as a Foreign Language before going on
to study an MSc in Marketing at the University of Hull.
"I heard about Doncaster College at the British Council in Iran.
I was impressed with the very pretty views of the campus which when
I arrived always made me feel relaxed and not lonely. I found the
staff to be very kind – all the teachers, managers and support
staff were lovely. It was very comfortable and cheap on campus and
the rooms were very pleasant.
"After studying English at Doncaster College I
went on to do an MSc in Marketing at the University of Hull. Now I
am working at the Canadian Legal Services In Iran as a Sales
Manager and Business & Immigration Consultant. I can relate my
job to what I studied in the UK. It’s a well paid job and to be
honest I wouldn’t have found it without my English course at
Doncaster College and my Master’s Degree from the University of
Hull.
"I think Doncaster College could be one of the
best and most popular colleges in the UK for a number of reasons,
for example, cost of living, quality of teaching, the kind and
helpful people, the landscape, the convenient location – it is
close to Leeds and Sheffield and not too far from London.
"The course which I chose has been very useful for my current
career and my future. It was easy for me to find a good, well paid
job when I returned to Iran as I gained an IELTS qualification and
a degree which is not very easy to do in Iran. I have Jackie and
Helen, my two brilliant English teachers, as well as the
International Office staff (Claire and Ben) to thank for this."
