Moisés González

Name: Moisés González

Country: Chile

"I am studying English Teaching in my country. I am doing my fourth year at University, out of five years. It is actually part of a scholarship that I applied for to come to England, and then go back to Chile to finish my studies.

It has helped because I live in an environment surrounded by people who speak English which is something that I’m going to deal with in the future. Also the culture which is a very important aspect because when you study the language you study the culture as well. So while I am studying the language, I am dealing with the culture and Doncaster has been a very good place during my stay here.

My typical day is going to work then I generally meet my friends and go to the cinema and sometimes go out to have a meal at restaurants and other nice places. I meet other friends and go travelling around other cities, meeting other people.

The means of transport are very effective. It is a very central zone, you can see that trains go by Doncaster as well as buses. You can find very good tickets to go by train, bus, or to by plane, so it’s a good place to live in."
