The College offers apprenticeships in a wide range of subject areas. They are a great way of getting a job and earning some cash while you learn. You can enjoy all the benefits of coming to college - great social life, top notch facilities, quality teaching and independence - plus you’ll be gaining real life experiences and some money in your pocket to help you along the way (a minimum £2.50 per hour).
Apprenticeships really do deliver for you. You get to build up knowledge, skills, and work towards a qualification, which employers want to see on your CV, enhancing your job prospects.
"I get assessed throughout the Apprenticeship with regular visits so I know how I'm progressing and hopefully it will lead onto permanent employment."
"The apprenticeship programme means I get equipped with lots of transferrable skills while also getting paid. I would definitely recommend it."
We can offer a great choice of Apprenticeships including:
You will be studying for an Apprenticeship in your chosen career area. The Apprenticeship is made up of a NVQ, Key Skills and a Technical Certificate.
From your first day you will be assigned an Assessor, who will visit you at least once a month to evaluate you and ensure you are being supported at work.
The length and time of your course will depend on each individual subject and employer. You will split your time between the workplace and college.
To find vacancies near a specific location, check the National Apprenticeship Vacancy website.
Depending on your chosen subject, you may have to wear a uniform. We’ll tell you more about all of this at your interview.
Entry requirements will depend on each individual subject and the Level of course. Contact us for more details.
An Apprenticeship will get you ready for life in your chosen industry but also lead onto higher level courses.
