Business Ventures

Design is an increasingly competitive area within an industrial and commercial climate. The Faculty of Arts offers a Business Start Up in Art and Design which is an incubator project aimed at local graduates wishing to start up their own business. Our aim is to nuture talent and promote confidence, creativity and innovation that is combined with sound business development skills.

The course provides opportunities for designers by offering workshop space, equipment, support services, business help, seminars and networking events. It is intended to attract new creative industries into the area whilst providing a spring-board for exciting design talent.
