Announcing the inaugural Music and Sound Technology
Practice in Education Conference, where leading industry and
educational partners will be represented.
The event will look at developing hands-on technology
skills and discussion and development of teaching ideas in the real
world. The three-day conference is aimed at anyone working in music
education at secondary, FE or HE levels.
The Conference will include workshops and demonstrations
from a range of equipment that is commonly used in teaching
the subject, and we have support from Apple, Sibelius, Yamaha,
Roland, Digidesign, Gigajam and Ableton who are providing trainers
and presenters.
The main focus of presentations and seminars is from people who
teach the subject, and give people involved in music education the
opportunity to ask and discuss questions that are key to teaching
the subject, such as "How do I teach 30 children with only 10
computers?" and "What is the best way to approach A level
composition?"
See our 'What's on' page for
information about the speakers.
