What is Clearing?

Clearing is the name given to the final stages of the University admissions process and is your opportunity to find a place at university for September 2011.

Clearing can be a stressful and sometimes confusing time. Finding a degree programme quickly that is right for you with your parents on your back can be daunting. Don’t despair! We have experienced staff that can help.

  • If you are interested in postgraduate courses click here
  • If you are hoping to apply for 2012 please contact us.

How do I Apply?

Assuming you’ve already applied to UCAS, you will be automatically entered into Clearing if you:

  • Currently aren’t holding any offers
  • Applied to UCAS after the 30 June deadline
  • Haven’t had your place confirmed at your firm or insurance choice

UCAS allocate you a 6 digit Clearing code that you provide to your chosen University. If you find the course you are looking for please contact us with this code and we can help you straight away.

What if I haven't applied yet?

If you are not part of the UCAS scheme, don’t worry, you can apply direct to the University but please only deal with one application at a time.

The whole process is surprisingly quick and simple even at these late stages. If you have any questions please email he@don.ac.uk or phone 0800 358 74 74.
