Enterprise and Innovation in South Yorkshire

Doncaster College's Enterprise College is devoted to
raising the level of economic activity in South Yorkshire through
Innovation and Enterprise. Through the practical application of
theory people develop their ideas and skills in the marketplace
creating new high added value services, goods and
procedures.
The holistic approach adopted to supporting organistions has
been shown by research to lift success and survival rates in new
startup significantly, and to stimulate innovation in existing
organisations, both public and private.
Doncaster Business School staff are working with Professor
Auckland to develop support mechanisms and involvement in
Innovations and Enterprise through:

- Provision of physical resources (DBIC, Enterprise Support
Centres, Incubation)
- Masterclasses
- Undergraduate courses
- Postgraduate programmes in innovation, enterprise and
marketing
