About Doncaster Children's University™
This innovative and dynamic scheme was
launched earlier this year after a successful pilot project
involving two local schools. It's aim is to raise children's and
young people's achievements, attainment, aspirations and
self-esteem through enjoyable, exciting and 'hands on' positive
learning modules.
Doncaster Children's University™
(DCU) project director Linda Ward said: " we will deliver high
quality, out-of-school learning modules in schools and at The Hub.
We intend to maximise children's and young peoples learning
potential and nurture a love of learning that will continue into
adulthood."
The difference between learning in school and
outside school is that the sessions can be more informal and the
emphasis is on learning by having fun! We aim to build on an
enhance what is being taught in schools.

Independant of the Children's University™ there is
professionally lead, and fun, drama sessions for children aged
4-13. These run from 28 Sandbeck Road, Doncaster, South Yorkshire,
DN4 5EU. Contact: 07981 789787 for more infomation
