How to create a folder
In order to create a new folder, follow these steps. Note that
this guide describes how to create a new folder in the "Course
Documents" area, but these steps can apply to the "Course
Information", "Assignments" and custom areas also.
To begin with, go to the appropriate course. Then:

Go to "Course Documents" using the menu bar on the left of the
screen.
- Select the "Edit View" option from the top-right of the page
which loads up.

Click the "+ Folder" option on the new toolbar which
appears.

Enter a name for the folder. Try to make this indicative of the
content.

Optionally enter a description for the folder. This might
explain what is contained inside it.

Choose whether to make the content available or hidden.

Select 'Yes' to track the number of views.

Click the 'Submit' button.

The folder will is now ready to be used and viewed.
