How to save or move an assignment
To move or save an assignment into another
location, first go to the appropriate course. Then:
Go to the
“Control Panel” which is in the lower section of the left-hand
menu.
- In the “Assignments” section, click the “Test
Manager” link. All of the online tests for the course will be
displayed.

- Find the test you wish to copy and click the
“Export” option next to it.

- When prompted, click the “Save” option, and
save the file to a suitable location (i.e. a memory stick or your
desktop).
- When the download is complete, click “Close”
and then “OK”
- Navigate to the course where you wish to add
the test by clicking on the My Doncaster College tab in the top
section.

- Once in the course, go to the "Control
Panel"
- In the "Assignments" section, go to the "Test Manager"
page.
- Click the "Import" button on the toolbar.

- Click the "Browse" button, and then use the dialog to find the
test file that you saved earlier. Select it and then press the
"Open" button.
- With the correct file selected, click the "Submit"
button.
- A confirmation message will be displayed. Click the "Okay"
button to continue.
- Return to the "Control Panel" using the link at the top of the
content area.

- Under the "Content Area" section, click on the "Assignments"
link.

- When the page has loaded, click the "+ Test" button in the
toolbar at the top.

- In the "Add Test" listings, select the test that you copied
over and then press the "Submit" button.
- By default, after adding the test, it will not be available to
students. To make it available, click the "Modify the Test Options"
link.
- Under "Section 2 - Test Availability", change the "Make the
link available" option to Yes.

- Click "Submit" to finish. The test will now be available to
students, and their results will automatically feed back into their
Blackboard Grade Book.
