Logging on to College Computers

Username:  Your College ID card number@don.ac.uk e.g. dc0012345@don.ac.uk

Password:  Ask in your LRC about your initial computer password. 

You will be required to change this the first time you login.

 

Forgotten your password?  Present your College card and we can reset your password.

 

Blackboard 

Blackboard is your online classroom. In Blackboard you will find your course information and your course resources.  Login with your College computer login, but without the @don.ac.uk

 

Username: Your College ID card number e.g. dc0012345

Password: Same as your computer password.

 

If you are a distance learner and have never logged on to the College computers, you will need to activate your account before proceeding.  To do this you will need to know your initial computer password.  If you have forgotten this, you will need to contact the LRC and staff will reset your password for you. 

 

Home access to e-resources

You can access all the e-Library's resources from home with your College Computer login

 

Username: Your College ID card number@don.ac.uk e.g. dc0012345@don.ac.uk

Password: Same as your computer password (see above).

 

If you have never logged on to the College computers, you will need to activate your account before proceeding. 

 

Renewing books via the Web catalogue

You can renew books online and keep up to date with your borrower account by using the My Account feature on the web catalogue.  You Web Catalogue Login is:

 

Username: Your College ID card number

Password: Your initial college password (the one you had before you were asked to change it).  This password remains the same unless you elect to Change your pin.  If you have forgotten your initial password please contact your LRC.
