How many items can I take out? 

You can borrow up to 15 items.

How long can I have them for?

Items are available for different loan periods. If you want to see whether the loan period fits in with your next visit to College, check the loan period on web catalogue before you borrow.

What can I do if I need the item for longer? 

You can renew 1 and 3 week loan items items twice as long as they have not been recalled. You can renew by phone, email, in person or via the web catalogue

You can use the Hold function on the web catalogue to request its recall.

You can keep track of what you have out on loan by using the web catalogue to check your borrower account.

What happens if I return an item late or lose it? 

We do charge fines for late returned or lost material. If you think you have lost a book please do contact your Learning Resource Centre so the problem can be resolved swiftly.

 

Remember you can avoid fines by renewing your books online, by telephone or in person. If the Learning Resource Centre is closed you can return books via the bookdrop at each site.

Can I borrow if I haven't got my College card? 

You must present your College card if you want to borrow any materials from the LRC or carry out any LRC transactions. This is your personal College ID.
