Learning Resource Centre staff are always available to provide vital help in locating appropriate information to help you in your studies.

 

Orientation and information skills workshops are booked by your course tutor. In addition, online tutorials and advertised workshops on specific topics are provided for you to book directly with the Learning Resource Centre.

 

Get Started

Welcome Show:

  • Welcome tutorials – Welcome tutorials are available on the website for the Hub LRC and the University Centre LRC is available on the website. Staff can also borrow a disk if they want to deliver the tutorial in class. See staff at the LRC reception desk.

We can create tutorials to help our students explore the LRC and use our basic resources

  • Web Catalogue – use this guide to get to grips with the LRCs’ Web Catalogue.
  • Your Account – find out how to keep track of the items you have borrowed and how to manage your account.
  • Holds and Requests – if what you want isn’t on the shelf try placing a hold or asking for an inter-site request.
