New Journals Available

We are pleased to let you know that there are two
brand new journals available for use and loan in the LRC -
Auto Service and Repair: Motor
Vehicles, which will be invaluable and
interesting for anybody on a Motor Vehicle course as well
as anyone with an interest in cars, and
Hotshoe:
Photography which in addition to
being an interesting and attractive read will be a great asset
for anybody on a Photography course.
For newcomers and people who have never used Journals
before, the Learning Rersource Centres have access to over 7000
online journals, from 'PC format', to ‘International Textiles’
as well as more than 200 paper journals held in the LRC. We
also keep an archive of many of the journals so you can
look through and take out previous issues.
But don’t take our word for it! Come along and see for
yourself.

The New LRC Blog!

Hi readers and welcome to the brand new Doncaster
College Learning Resource Centre Blog!
As the fanfares die down in the background I'll explain what
this new page is here to do. This Blog is quite
simply here to keep you the students up to date and
informed on everything that you want to know! And to do
this in a means that works the best for you shaped by your
responses.
It's here give you a channel into the LRC that will
let you ask questions, have your say, and be in the know on what
goes on week by week in our facilites. It will be an
up to date record of whats going on in the LRCs
from art displays to new books,
inductions and printers to brand new DVDS
in our media library.
So really it's here to help you make the most of what
we at the LRC have to offer, by keeping you up to date with
everything that we have to offer. So we get to see and
hear from you again in future and make the most of this
brand new service and all it can do to keep you,
the people who use the LRC, in the loop.
