Merry Christmas and a happy new year!

Its nearly that time again
- All college facilities will shortly close for
the winter break, shutting down at 12:00 on friday the 21st
(tomorrow!) and re-opens for learning on monday, the 7th of
January.
We look forwards to seeing you after your holiday refreshed
and with slightly tighter belts. And the staff of both
learning resource centres are together in wishing you all
a cheer filled Christmas, a happy new year, and all the seasons
wishes!
Murder at the LRC (sort of)
December 19th 2007
Well not an actual murder thankfully, but if there had been this
forensic science group with their tutor Amy Barton would have been
right on the case.
Here they are next to the Learning Resource Centre study rooms
where they deciphered the clues and worked together to solve an
enacted crime, though they were mysteriously tight lipped about who
the culprit turned out to be…

The Great Hub Shelf Shift
December 14th 2007
The Hub LRC is in the process of a shift
around of many of its subject areas to make room for new college
developments. So if you come into the Hub LRC and your subject area
is no where to be found, don’t panic!
So far the Sports, Literature
and Language books as well as our Fiction, ESOL, Study skills,
Life skills and Careers have all moved! And we are not finished
yet…
We will once again keep you updated through
this page and if you can't find the book or section that you are
after, have any questions about where things have
gone, just come and ask a member of staff and we are
always happy to help.

We have been very busy and are proud to
announce that Journals can now be searched for on the Web
Catalogue. To search for a journal simply type in the title
you’re looking for and hit search.
Once the title is found click on the
details button:
Then select the catalogue record tab to
find the call number (class number).
