Local and community history month
6th May 2009
This month we’re promoting local and community
history month with a display on Level 4. Have a look through some
of the books on Doncaster we have on display, we’re sure you’ll
find it interesting seeing the old photos of our town. We also
included a few of our newspaper clippings folders, as we feel
Doncaster College is our community and an important part of
Doncaster history. We have been collecting clippings for a good few
years now so have a flick through, you might be surprised by a
familiar face or learn something new about your college and
town.
We also have many more books on Doncaster and
the surrounding areas in the history section of the LRC

The learning resource centres will be
closed on Monday 4th of May due to it being a bank holiday. please
ensure you have renewed any overdue books to avoid further
fines.
