Top Illustrator Talks to Students

Alan Heighton

A former Doncaster College student who has designed artwork for Arctic Monkeys, The Guardian and Boots has returned to pass on his knowledge to current students.

Alan Heighton, who studied at the College’s former Church View campus and lives in Tickhill, has also produced work for Creative Review magazine, Computer Arts magazine and The Big Issue.

He visited University Centre Doncaster on Monday, April 6 to talk to BA (Hons) Graphic Design students about the industry and gave them valuable tips on promoting their work effectively when they graduate.

Alan is just the latest in a series of guest lecturers visiting the University Centre, adding value to the student experience.
