Lifeskills Students Celebrate Achievement

Lifeskills students at Doncaster College attended their annual awards evening which took place in early December at The Hub.

Certificates presented varied from Beauty Therapy to Bricklaying and each subject includes a daily living skills lesson to help prepare students for independent living.

Diane Bailey, Assistant Principal for Learner Support and Inclusion, presented the awards and commented on how hard the students had worked to achieve their certificates. Diane also presented a group of students with a high street voucher and a memory stick for winning second prize in the "Staying Safe" poster competition which was completed during induction week.

The evening was rounded off with entertainment as students performed a drama routine and a short extract from Mamma Mia.
