A student was so impressed with the course he was doing
and the responsive attitude of his tutors that he felt compelled to
write to the principal and let him know!
Captain Rick Rawling, an Administration and Welfare Officer with
the armed forces in Northern Ireland, wrote to George Trow,
Principal and Chief Executive of Doncaster College, after
completing a C&G Level 4 in Internally Assuring the Quality of
Assessment course, via long distance learning with the College.
Rick said, "I just wanted the Principal to know how good the
service I received was.
"From registration to accreditation…Superb! I have nothing but
praise for the team at Doncaster College."
Rick, who is 45 and originally from Bircotes, Doncaster, joined
the army in 1984. He is now preparing for when he eventually leaves
the army and returns to civilian life, and is currently studying
for a Masters Degree in HR Management through University Centre
Doncaster.
Rick, who was the first student to complete the new C&G
level 4, said, "I live and work in Northern Ireland and much of the
correspondence was done via telephone, email and then attendance at
College in Doncaster.
"It took me a little under 6 months to complete and was backed
up with continuous advice, guidance and support.
"I would like to pay testimony to my tutor Christine Battley.
She was outstanding, delivering this brand new programme, with
flair and expertise."
"I would recommend this course and I would recommend you doing
it with Doncaster College. You will not be disappointed."
