BA Honours Artists

The inaugural BA Doncaster Creativity Awards given to art and design students from Doncaster College and University Centre Doncaster took place recently.

The event took place in the showrooms of BA Components based in Kirk Sandall, near Doncaster and the awards were presented by David Caulfield, BA Components Sales & Marketing Director,

BA components provide a bursary to the College annually and Mr. Caulfield confirmed its continuation for the next academic year.

This bursary to the college combines community interest, encourages growth and development and promotes our belief and commitment to design and marketing. The process has been interesting, challenging but ultimately rewarding for all involved.”

The offer consists of a £5000 bursary with add ons such as materials, student awards and the opportunity for students to attend an external design or exhibition event.

This year’s awards went to Catherine Curran who won 1st Prize for The Wave Machine. 2nd Prize went Paula Elwood for Building Blocks and 3rd Prize to Rachel Kitchen for Landscape Panels.
