Dance Students Step up for Charity

Dance students from Doncaster College
and University Centre Doncaster have, for the second year running,
staged a performance
of 'Level Steps' in aid of
charity.
This year, the proceeds from the variety dance
show are going to Breakthrough Breast Cancer. The sum of £710 will
go to the charity.
Students from Level 2 courses to degree level
banded together to put on the show at the Harvey Theatre in the
picturesque grounds of University Centre Doncaster's High Melton
campus.
Marie Wroe, show organiser and course leader
in performing arts, said, "It meant so much being able to raise
money and also awareness of such an important charity. The students
were very supportive of it and produced excellent dance pieces and
also took it upon themselves to make pink ribbons and cakes to sell
too. It was once again a great success."
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is
a charity committed to fighting breast cancer through research,
campaigning and education.
