Annual show set to take town by…VROOOM!?
Motorists on the town’s roads could be
in for a few classic surprises at the weekend as hundreds of cars
and bikes descend on Doncaster for the annual motor
show.
The spectacle, in its sixth year is being
sponsored by Doncaster College with all proceeds made on the day
going to local charities in and around the borough.
The event has been organised by the Rotary Club of Doncaster St. Georges and will be
held at The Doncaster College for the Deaf on Sunday
15th July (10am – 4.30pm).
Stacey Morgan, marketing and events
co-ordinator for Doncaster College said: “We are very excited to be
involved with the up and coming classic car and bike show, which
will support a selection of the towns worthy causes.
“With live entertainment, full catering, a
licensed bar alongside parades, craft stalls, children’s rides and
more stunning motors on show than ever before - it will be a great
day out for all the family.”
Motor exhibitors are advised to visit the
Rotary Club website for advanced cheaper ticket prices, while entry
to the event for the general public is £2.50 with those under the
age of 12 gaining access for free.
