Rewards for Learners
The academic year at Doncaster College
has drawn to a close for the summer break and students are taking a
well-earned rest but just before the end of term there was a flurry
of award ceremonies to celebrate their successes since last
September.
From across all subject areas of the College
from the Arts to Technology, Business to Floristry, Catering and
Hair and Beauty to Child Care, and the Steps programme, to name a
few. Students were recognized for their work and achievements and
commitment by their tutors and their peers.
Ceremonies were held in the Hub’s Waterfront
Restaurant and Drama Hall and friends and family took the
opportunity to join the learners, and enthusiastically applaud them
for their outstanding achievements.
Individual learners were honoured in many
areas, including those that have shown particular talent, devotion,
skill and potential.
A College spokesperson said, “These award ceremonies were a
great opportunity to reward learners for their hard work and also
to acknowledge the passion and dedication of staff.”
