Rowing for Sports Relief
Students from the Sports and Public Service department
at Doncaster College have been doing a 7-hour Row-athon in aid of
Sports Relief.
About a hundred students are rowing a hundred miles in the seven
hours and they are well on the way to passing last year’s target of
£200. The rowing started at 9am this morning just outside Debenhams
in the Frenchgate Shopping Centre in the Doncaster Town centre, and
finishes at 4pm.
There are two rowing machines and they are taking it in turns so
two students will always be rowing.
