A floristry student with the group's cyclone creation

Doncaster College floristry students have scooped a prestigious silver award for their Wizard of Oz display at Harrogate Flower Show.

Helped by tutor Tracey Campbell, students Amanda Foweather, Gemma Tagg, Tricia Wilson, Anne-Marie Holmes, Kelly Gillan, Li Askew, Maria Twiby and Ching Wong impressed judges at the popular annual event.

It is the third year in a row College students have picked up a silver award at the show. Judges said their cyclone was ‘absolutely wonderful and a very clever idea’.
