Talented Students Show Off Art

An array of artwork by third year degree students have gone on display at The Hub.

The annual Fashion and Fine Art degree shows opened on Thursday, May 21 for a private viewing, with the exhibition open to the public for a week thereafter.

One piece of artwork was BA (Hons) Fine Arts and Crafts degree student Rebekah’s Carroll’s childhood-themed exhibit.

Rebekah, 25, of Drax near Selby, said: “It’s all inspired from my memories from childhood – things like Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz. It took me about four or five months to put it all together but I think it’s been worth it.

“I have really enjoyed my three years here and it will be very sad to leave. I don’t know what I’ll do next – I’m keeping my options open.”
