Students Scoop Awards
Two University Centre Doncaster students have scooped
awards from the South Yorkshire branch of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel and Development.
Cheryl O'Donnell and Sarah Fox, who are studying on the MSc in
Human Resource Management course at the University Centre, were
named students of the year and were presented with certificates by
David Hayden, Vice-Chair of South Yorkshire CIPD, in front of their
lecturers and fellow students.
Maureen Sydney, Head of Higher Education at University Centre
Doncaster, and John McDonald, Assistant Director of the School of
Business and Management, were also in attendance.
Cheryl, 32 from Balby, Doncaster and Sarah, 28 from Sheffield,
were given the awards for their academic achievement and
contribution to the course, as well as their considerable help to
other colleagues on the course.
