A Doncaster College lecturer has been
named in the top crew of Apple teachers in the
country.
Faculty of Arts Deputy Head David Kirtlan has
been given the title of Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) by the
computer manufacturer – one of only 75 in the country.
It means David is one of the first people in
the country to know about new Apple products and how these can be
used to educate students at Doncaster College and University
Centre, Doncaster.
David said: “I get to go to Apple conferences where we discuss
ideas on how the latest software can be used to help our students,
particularly focusing on the use of Apple software in creative
subjects.
“We use the latest software at the College so
our students are getting the best experience possible.
Some 95% of the College’s computers used for
creative courses are made by Apple.
