A Doncaster College lecturer has been named in the top crew of Apple teachers in the country.

 

Faculty of Arts Deputy Head David Kirtlan has been given the title of Apple Distinguished Educator (ADE) by the computer manufacturer – one of only 75 in the country.

 

It means David is one of the first people in the country to know about new Apple products and how these can be used to educate students at Doncaster College and University Centre, Doncaster.

David said: “I get to go to Apple conferences where we discuss ideas on how the latest software can be used to help our students, particularly focusing on the use of Apple software in creative subjects.

 

“We use the latest software at the College so our students are getting the best experience possible.

 

Some 95% of the College’s computers used for creative courses are made by Apple.
