Finns Visit Doncaster College

College in Finland.
Two members of staff from North Carelia College in
Finland visited Doncaster College recently.
Student Union Coordinator, Janna Lilja, 38, and Project Manager
for ICT Services, Ville Tuominen, 33, came to Doncaster on a
fact-finding tour to learn how the College connects with staff and
students.
Whilst here they took a tour of the college, as well as meeting
with various members of staff from the Learning Resource Centre,
Learner Services, Marketing, Student Union and Vol.Success
Before leaving the pair rounded off their trip with a visit to
Doncaster's Keepmoat Stadium to watch Doncaster Rovers play Leeds
United.
When asked about his experience at the College, Ville said,
"It’s been really good, we've learned a lot to take back with us.
Everyone has been really friendly and helpful and we hope to visit
again with some of our students."
