Doncaster College had a stand showcasing and advertising courses at the relaunch of the Doncaster Show last weekend.
Held over two days in the 12 acres of sports fields and indoor facilities of the Doncaster Deaf Trust Campus on Leger Way. The Doncaster Show was a fun-packed weekend of entertainment where there was something to please everyone, from Archery to Zumba, Classic Cars to Craft Stalls.
There were competitions and displays as well as live music from popular, local bands including The Colliers and Rita Payne who played to scores of admirers in the Trax FM Arena.
A Doncaster College spokesperson said: “We were delighted to
support the Doncaster Show 2012 hosted by the Lions
International.
“It gave us a great opportunity to meet potential learners of all
ages, showcase what the college could offer as well as supporting a
local charitable organisation.
“The event offered something for everyone from dog agility courses,
giant inflatables and fair ground rides, classic cars, archery, a
whole host of local music acts alongside local retailers and
emergency services. “
The weather managed to stay bright which encouraged a good turn out and the College benefitted with an abundance of enquiries from the public about courses.
