I came to College about two years ago
because I wanted something different. I spent two years studying
with the Foundation Studies department at The Hub and now I’m on a
Level 1 Business and ICT course.
I really want to be a graphic designer so I’m
hoping that I can do the First Diploma in Graphics and Media here
and get the right skills. There’s so much you can do if you get the
right graphics skills – there’s web design, graphic design, loads
of stuff.
I was bullied a bit at school and came to
college with not much confidence but being here has made me a
totally different person. I’m quite confident now and I know almost
everyone here. I’ve made loads of great friends and I have a great
social life too.
There’s been a few mishaps since The Hub
opened but that was always going to happen. The problems are being
sorted and I can see this place being really good for students.
