| Interesting Fact: I’ve just
graduated from University Centre, Doncaster |
Being from Doncaster, it’s great to
have such great facilities on your doorstep. But when I was at
school I was told I would never be able to study for a degree in my
chosen subject. I was delighted to prove them wrong this summer as
anything is possible at Doncaster College.
I graduated last month at a superb ceremony at
Doncaster Minster, organised by the College. It was a fantastic day
and everything went well – it didn’t even rain. The immediate night
out wasn’t bad either. But that’s all part of being a student.
After spending three years at the College at
the old Church View site I was sad to leave and part of me wishes I
was still studying because the new campus looks great. I would also
like to thank my tutors for all their work in helping me attain my
degree.
I have always wanted to become a graphic
designer and now I have graduated I am looking for a job in the
South Yorkshire area. I am currently applying for a few jobs and
hope to gain full-time employment in the New Year and hopefully get
my career started.
