I left school with all my GCSEs mainly
at Grade C. I have just completed my Level 1 in Childcare and
Education which has been fun.
I have made some really fantastic and
supportive friends and learnt that college is different to school
life. I have enjoyed every minute of the course and have
enjoyed all the practical parts of it, like working with the
electronic babies, which has been fun as we all gained experience
of what looking after a baby is like.
All my friends from college have been very
supportive in giving guidance on looking after the babies and
during the assignments, and the tutors have been fabulous in giving
guidance on childcare. I came to college to get away from
school to gain more experience and I feel that I have gained
that.
After I have completed all the levels in
Childcare Level 2 (CCE) and Level 3 (DCE), I will be
qualified to work as a nursery nurse. All my tutors have been
really supportive and helped me whenever I needed help, and given
lots of supportive advice.
