I’m really enjoying College – mainly
because of the great people that are here. The students make the
place what it is.
I’ve currently just finished the second year
of doing my AS Levels in English literature and drama and theatre
studies but it is my first year at Doncaster College. I did the
previous year at a sixth form and really didn’t enjoy it. This
place is totally different.
I came here because I had heard good things
about the College and obviously because the new building was
opening I thought it would be even better. I just saw the Hub and
said ‘I want to be there’. There have been a few little problems
but that’s understandable.
The students are really good and are the best
thing about the College. There’s loads of interesting people.
There’s not really much I would change about the College at all and
I’ll definitely be here next year – hopefully doing my A2 Levels to
get a complete qualification. I hope there’ll be a common room or
something similar at the Hub next year. That would make the Hub
even better. Then I hope to go onto university after that.
